SMASHProps has gone GREEN!
The entertainment industry frequently gets a bad rap for it's sometimes wasteful practices. In an effort to help conserve resources and reduce waste, you should know about several things that SMASHProps is doing to help reduce, reuse and recycle.
What's with those funky old boxes??
We're doing our part to reduce waste and re-use. If you are wondering why your order came in what looks to be the living room moving box number 6? The boxes that we use to ship our SMASHProps are, whenever possible, boxes that we have obtained from local sources such as FREE-CYCLE, local businesses, and friends. We have lowered our shipping box purchases considerably and are doing a good thing for the environment at the same time. If you don't mind that your brand new SMASHProps come in an old brand box, well, neither do we. Thank you.
Used Material Buy-Back Program
The materials used to make SMASHProps breakaways are expensive but they are recyclable. We encourage you to recycle your SMASHProps by returning them to us for a store credit. Simply collect the broken shards of SMASHProps brand breakaway glass or ceramic (only), throw into a Ziploc bag (no dirt or real glass please) and send to SMASHProps using the FedEx account number included with your shipment. Ship FedEx Ground Only. We’ll provide you with store credit! We pay $12.00 per pound of material returned. That’s roughly the equivalent of 6 bottles. So you could essentially get one standard bottle for every six purchased!
Buy-Back Terms:
Material must be clean and free of foreign objects, or debris.
Clear glass colors can be mixed.
Breakaway ceramics must be separate from “glass”
No other materials or brands qualify (IE: Unbreakable, Foam, etc.)
